Qiraan - Umrah & Hajj (One Ihram)
Tamattu' - Umrah & Hajj (Two Ihrams)
Ifraad - Hajj only (One Ihram)

- Summary of Three Types of Hajj

1- Hajj Tamattu'

Umrah before Hajj but performed with separate Ihram.
Abandon Ihram after Umrah with no slaughter of animal.
Resume Ihram on the 8th of Thul-Hijjah

Should Slaughter

Umrah and Hajj in Two Ihrams

2- Hajj Qiran

Umrah and Hajj is combined with or without the animal sacrifice.
Ihram maintained throughout.

Should Slaughter

Umrah and Hajj in One Ihram

3- Hajj Ifrad

Ihram adopted with intention of Hajj only.

No Slaughter

MIQAT LOCATIONS

Hujjaj must put on Ihram at/before one of these Miqat Locations.

General Body Cleaning (Ghusl)

Proclaim the Niya(Intention for Umrah)

3.
Put Ihram AT/BEFORE Miqat

4.
Pray Two Rak'a

5.
Recite Talbiya Frequently

6.
Go To Masjid Al-Haram

7.
Make Tawaf around Ka'bah 7 Circuits

8.
Pray Two Rak'a Near Maqam Ibrahim

9.
Drink Zamzam Water

10.
Sa'iy (between Safa & Marwa)

11.
Hair Cut (Shave / Clip)

12.
Remove Ihram
